1. Heaven and relationship with Jesus are gifts from God.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

2. God gives you a new life and attitude.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

3. You will want to obey Jesus because you love Jesus and others.

"If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15) "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Matthew 22:37-39)

4. You will love the church because Jesus loved it.

"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood." (Acts 20:28) "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it…" (Ephesians 5:25)

5. You will be miserable if you are out of fellowship with Jesus.

"For whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and punishes every son whom He receives." If you endure discipline, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons." (Hebrews 12:6-8)

6. You will have complete confidence that Jesus is faithful to keep you forever.

"For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day." (2 Timothy 1:12)
